National Marketplace Forum Kicks Off in Bishkek: Dialogue, Solutions, and New Opportunities for E-Commerce

Today, May 23, the National Marketplace Forum of the Kyrgyz Republic officially opened its doors at the Technopark in Bishkek. The event is a key milestone in the development of e-commerce and digital logistics in the country. It is organized by Kyrgyz Post JSC and the Cross-Border E-Commerce and Logistics Association of the Kyrgyz Republic, with support from the Secretariat of the Investment Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Forum began with welcoming remarks from high-level representatives of government bodies and the business sector. Among the speakers were Minister of Digital Development Azamat Zhamankulov, Member of Parliament Dastan Bekeshev, officials from the Customs Service, Eldik Bank, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russia-Kyrgyz Development Fund, and leaders of international associations from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, and the Russian Federation.

President of the Cross-Border E-Commerce and Logistics Association of the Kyrgyz Republic, Marsel Salakhunov, presented the goals of the Forum and emphasized the importance of developing e-commerce in the country. He also awarded certificates to members of the Association and welcomed new participants.

The Forum features a rich agenda, including:
— Panel discussions on logistics as the backbone of e-commerce
— Presentations from leading Kyrgyz marketplaces: Elpost.kg, Goods.kg, Tap.kg, Lalafo, Qoovy, and others
— Discussions on digital solutions, streaming platforms, AI tools, and B2B integration
— A dedicated session on financial infrastructure for e-commerce, covering acquiring, POS lending, and partnership programs
— A closing session with results, conclusions, and signing of new cooperation agreements

A special exhibition area is also open throughout the day, along with B2B networking meetings between marketplaces, logistics companies, and fintech service providers.

The Forum has become a vibrant and open platform for exchanging experience, showcasing innovative solutions, and identifying practical steps for advancing e-commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic.
