On November 30, 2024, Bishkek hosted the forum "Inclusive Employment of People with Special Needs," organized by the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and with support from other international partners.

The forum focused on employment and integration of people with special needs, emphasizing creating conditions for their successful employment and professional development. Participants, including representatives from government agencies, international organizations, public funds, and business associations, discussed successful examples and best practices for creating an inclusive society.

During the forum, the "Employment of People with Special Needs" guide was presented. The guide provides practical information for employers about the necessary conditions for employing people with special needs.

The Secretariat of the Investment Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic actively supports such initiatives aimed at expanding employment and professional development opportunities for people with special needs. We encourage our partners and the private sector to engage more actively with public funds and organizations, to support their products and services, and to implement joint projects.

We believe that all members of society, regardless of their physical abilities, can contribute to the development of the country.
