The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved and submitted to the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic a draft of the new Labor Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The purpose of the new Labor Code is to balance the interests of employees and employers by implementing updated labor legislation.

The main objective of the Labor Code project and the accompanying Law "On Implementing the Labor Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Field of Labor" is to create a more flexible and structured legal base that meets modern economic and social realities. This includes improving working conditions, protecting workers' rights, and enhancing the country's investment appeal.

The adoption of the new Labor Code is expected to promote economic growth, increase labor productivity, and improve workers' welfare. The introduction of new technologies and support for workers' creative initiatives will contribute to the improvement of the country's economic indicators.
