Previously, during a session of the Investment Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, the need for preparing and adopting a mentorship framework was initiated by Ms. Gulnara Turarovna Uskenbaeva, the Director of the Association of Suppliers (Producers and Distributors), one of the active members of the Council.
In accordance with the minutes of the aforementioned Council meeting, the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has developed a draft resolution titled "Approval of the Standard Regulation on Mentorship within the Enterprise (Organization)."
The objective of mentorship is to provide methodological and practical assistance to learners, young professionals newly employed, as well as employees appointed to positions for which they lack work experience. This assistance aims to enhance their professional knowledge, skills, and abilities, contributing to the effective fulfillment of job responsibilities, smooth integration into the team, adherence to labor discipline, and efforts towards accessibility and efficiency enhancement.
In compliance with Article 17, Section 6 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Promoting Employment of the Population," the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has issued Resolution No. 397 dated August 9, 2023, endorsing the Standard Regulation on Mentorship within the Enterprise (Organization).
