On January 17, a meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Investment Council to discuss green economy development, the impact of climate change on agriculture and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and the development of adaptive measures.

The discussion was attended by Uluk Kydyrbaev, Head of the Secretariat of the Investment Council, Secretariat experts Azem Akmatbek and Cholpon Asakeeva, General Director of AgroWay LLC Kairkul Kazylaeva, and agricultural and Business Linkage Center expert Azamat Mukashev. Special attention was given to the presentation of the outcomes of an EBRD-funded project, which developed climate passports for 100 SMEs.

Participants explored opportunities for implementing new projects in the green economy, shared ideas on developing adaptive measures to address the challenges posed by climate change, and emphasized the importance of disseminating information about completed projects. The meeting underscored the need to expand partnerships and strengthen collaboration within the framework of the Climate Change Advisory Group.
