The Head of the Secretariat of the Investment Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Uluk Kydyrbaev, moderated a panel session on "International Dialogue on Public-Private Partnership (PPP)" as part of the III International PPP Conference. The session focused on key aspects of global PPP implementation experiences.
The discussions emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors to successfully implement infrastructure projects that contribute to economic growth and social stability.
Participants, including experts from international organizations such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the Eurasian Economic Commission, shared practical case studies—both successes and failures—from their countries.
In particular, Professor Hwang Won Kyu from South Korea presented examples of failed projects, which became important lessons for many nations. His presentation underscored the critical importance of accounting for all risks and anticipating challenges when implementing major infrastructure projects through PPP.
