We are pleased to present to your attention a brief animated video outlining the process for reviewing proposals or complaints from businesses by the Secretariat of the Investment Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

This video illustrates the key stages of receiving, reviewing, and making hashtag#decisions on business proposals received by the Investment Council.

The Secretariat of the Investment Council serves as the working body of the Council, and its activities are overseen by the Secretary of the Council.

In its operations, the Secretariat of the Council collaborates with the structural units of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the authorized state body in the field of economic development and support for entrepreneurship, as well as with state and local self-government bodies.

The Investment Council hashtag#serves as the national platform for the sustainable public-private dialogue.

On November 15, a working meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Investment Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic to monitor previously adopted decisions during the Investment Council meeting on February 11, 2023.

Responsible personnel from the National Investments Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Center for Public-Private Partnership presented updated information on the decisions made by the Investment Council.

During this meeting, the parties discussed the importance of timely and accurate implementation of decisions made at the Investment Council meeting, as well as the prompt informing of the Secretariat of the Council about issues requiring consideration on the dialogue platform of the Secretariat with the involvement of the initiators of the raised issues and relevant government bodies.

In early November, a meeting took place between Uluk Kydyrbaev, Head of the Secretariat of the Investment Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Alexandra Solovieva, UNDP Resident Representative in the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation, with particular attention to involving the business sector in achieving common goals. The parties also examined key points of intersection, including issues related to aligning investments with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), social and green economy, as well as efficient waste management. The meeting laid a solid foundation for future initiatives and collaborative efforts.
